AWARDS WE HAVE The fascinating story of the burning of the Charlotte
Street area of New York’s South Bronx during the late 1960s and 70s

1/7/2003 A two vehicle crash at the intersection of US 24 and Flush Road in Pottawatomie County about 3:30 pm today sent one woman to a local hospital. Firefighters from Blue Township Fire-Rescue used hydraulic cutters and spreaders - the "jaws of life" - to open the driver's door on one of the vehicles so that EMS personnel could safely and efficiently remove the driver without aggravating any possible injuries. The patient was subsequently transported by Pottawatomie County EMS to Wamego City Hospital. No specific patient information is available (note: even if it was, Federal HIPPA regulations would prohibit us from releasing any patient care or condition related details). Also assisting on the scene were deputies from the Pottawatomie County Sheriff Department. The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
